As Bangladesh approaches the historic milestone of graduating from the Least Developed Country (LDC) status, it faces a transformative opportunity to redefine its economic future. The shift from LDC status to a middle-income country brings both challenges and tremendous potential, particularly in the realms of international trade and foreign direct investment (FDI).

This event, organized by the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) in partnership with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI) will take place as a part of the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025. The event will explore the opportunities, challenges, and key areas of development essential for sustaining growth and securing long-term prosperity in this new phase of Bangladesh’s economic journey.
